Economic and manufacturing activities of the citizens and residents of Temburong District are among the sectors that have shown very positive developments, as a result of various development projects carried out in the district, especially with the opening of the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge. The development projects have also transformed the landscape of Temburong District into a rapidly developing area. In conjunction with the 75th Birthday Celebration of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, tonight’s bulletin brings you a special report on the development projects that have opened up business opportunities as well as further enhance the economy of the One Village One Product, 1K1P as well as small and medium entrepreneurs, SME in Temburong District.
With its title as the Green Jewel of Brunei Darussalam, Temburong District enjoys rapid development in various aspects, moreover with the construction of the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge. Among them, in the fields of economy and manufacturing including the 1 Village 1 Product as well as Small and Medium Entrepreneurs, SME’s. The number of entrepreneurs and vendors has also increased.
With various facilities provided by the government, entrepreneurs can further develop their businesses. The income of the 1K1P and SME entrepreneurs has also shown an increase. This in turn has motivated them to strive further to develop their businesses.
In ensuring inclusive development in Temburong District, various efforts continue to be carried out to make the district into the destination of choice.
