Philippine Civil Service Commission Announces Nationwide Job Fair
MANILA — In celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) is set to host a nationwide job fair from September 2 to 6, aimed at recruiting new talent for various government positions.
According to Philippines News Agency, the 2024 Government Job Fair will provide a platform for job seekers to connect directly with government agencies. This onsite event will feature national and local government units, state universities and colleges, as well as government-owned and controlled corporations, all looking to fill vacancies with qualified individuals eager to serve in public sector roles.
The fair, organized in collaboration with the CSC’s 16 regional offices, will take place in multiple locations, including malls and civic centers across the regions. This strategic choice of venues aims to enhance access to employment opportunities locally and facilitate the recruitment process for both job seekers and government entities.
Nograles emphasized the inclusivity of the hiring initiative, encouraging all interested and qualified individuals, including those with disabilities, members of indigenous communities, and individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities, to participate.
“This year’s job fair is a key part of the week-long celebration known as ‘Linggo ng Lingkod Bayani’, which underscores the essential role of a robust civil service in national development,” Nograles stated. He expressed optimism about the active participation of various government offices and the general public in strengthening the civil service through this event.
Details regarding specific times and locations of the job fair, along with a list of participating government agencies, will be available on the PCSA microsite at csc.gov.ph/pcsa2024.
