The Capital becomes the focal point for the public to visit the festive stalls which are held in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 69th Birthday Celebration. Festive stalls located at the parking area in front of the Royal Regalia Building began on Saturday night and will be ongoing until the end of this month.
The festive stalls will be opened from 6pm until 12 midnight, which will see more than 200 stalls participating. The festive stalls not only help to enliven the celebratory atmosphere but it also provides an additional source of income for small and medium-scale vendors. The public’s visit to these stalls will certainly promise a lucrative business opportunity for the vendors.
The first night showcased the Pentarama performance which was organised by the Information Department. Present at the event was Dayang Hajah Noorashidah binti Haji Aliomar, the Acting Deputy Director of Information. Various activities, including religious-themed events will be held every night throughout this month.
