Penghulus and village heads also play a role in the success of ‘Operasi Pulih’ which is now under the Royal Brunei Police Force.
However, the Minister of Home Affairs explained that the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Health will help increase vaccinations in villages and mukims for the disabled as well as senior citizens. The role of penghulu and village heads is to provide information about the village and mukim residents to the relevant parties.
