His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended the Official Welcome Reception and State Dinner hosted by His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda. The event was held at Kigali Convention Centre. Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.
Upon arrival at Kigali Convention Centre, His Majesty was greeted by His Excellency Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda and Her Excellency Jeanette Kagame, First Lady of the Republic of Rwanda. The Dinner, which was further enlivened with cultural performances, was held in honour of the Commonwealth leaders attending the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), which will be held on 24th and 25th June 2022 in Kigali.
