There are a number of cases that have been allowed to return home after undergoing monitoring and treatment at the Isolation Centres provided. According to the Minister of Health, some of them still have positive Swab test results and this has caused concern among the public.
The Ministry of Health wants to reassure the public that although some of them, still have positive swab test results, those people have been confirmed recovered. Their swab test results show they will no longer infect others. However, they are required to continue to undergo quarantine for a period of 14 days upon returning home. On this occasion, the Ministry of Health would like to express its appreciation to all parties involved in implementing measures to control the spread of COVID-19 in the country, especially the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Royal Brunei Police Force, Fire and Rescue Department, National Disaster Management Centre, the relevant departments and agencies as well as all the volunteers who have been working hard together to protect the people and residents for the sake of our beloved country, and only Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala can reward their deeds.
