Post: New Islamic Education Textbook Introduced for Year Two Students

Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Curriculum and Assessment Committee, have published a new textbook for Islamic Education for Year Two. This initiative is part of an effort to enhance the educational approach by making it more comprehensive and aligned with Islamic teachings.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the newly introduced textbook emphasizes active, creative, and innovative thinking. It combines components of Religious Practice, Morality, and Jawi Learning into a single manuscript. This integration aims to provide a holistic learning experience for students.

The new curriculum, incorporating this textbook, will be implemented across all government and private primary schools, including international schools. The objective is to strengthen the foundations of Islamic religious education among students, ensuring they receive a broad and effective understanding of the subject matter.
