Basic educational concepts as well as the latest innovations in religious teachers were explained during the Nadwah Murabbi Programme. The programme conducted by the Strategic Management and Quality Assurance Unit of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB was aimed at improving the quality and competency of the academic staff. The Nadwah is also hoped to make KUPU SB as a Centre of Knowledge in Islamic teaching and education.

Dr. Mikdar Rusdi, Senior Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Usuluddin, KUPU SB, in his presentation entitled ‘Mengenali Konsep Pendidikan Islam Menerusi Sejarah Nabi Adam Alaihissalam’ or Knowing the Islamic Education Concept through the History of Prophet Adam Alaihissalam explained that several educational processes that can be taken from the story of Prophet Adam Alaihissalam include the dialogue process (during the creation of Prophet Adam Alaihissalam), proof including the provision of evidence and manners education. In addition, the story of Prophet Adam Alaihissalam also explained that the knowledge must be learned and delivered in phases and throughout the life. Meanwhile, the presentation of Awang Haji Mohammad Shahrol Azmi bin Haji Abdul Muluk, Assistant Lecturer at KUPU SB’s Core Knowledge Centre entitled ‘Nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam menerusi kisah-kisah Nabi Ibrahim dalam al-Quran”, touched on Islamic education values in the story of Prophet Ibrahim Alaihis Salam.
