Post: Munajat Night Focuses on Islamic Economic Principles at Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Malik Mosque

KAMPUNG TUNGKU KATOK — A special event, Munajat Night, recently held at Pengiran Muda 'Abdul Malik Mosque emphasized the importance of managing and preserving property as dictated by Islamic economic principles. The night featured a talk titled 'Membangun Ekonomi Rabbani' which highlighted the concept of Hifzul Mal, or the preservation of wealth, a key tenet of Maqasid Syariah.

According to Radio Television Brunei, which organized the event in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the gathering was attended by key government officials including Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy. The program included the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar, Surah Al-Mulk, and Doa Munajat, with officers and staff from both ministries in attendance.

Further enhancing the event, takmir committees and congregants from 63 mosques, suraus, and religious halls across the nation joined virtually, contributing to a spiritually enriching experience.
