Munajat Night Emphasizes Quranic Justice in Leadership
BRUNEI DARUSSALAM – The Ministry of Religious Affairs hosted a Munajat Night on the evening of 13th July, focusing on the principles of fair leadership grounded in the teachings of the Al-Qur’an. This event, held at the Ar-Rahman Mosque in Kampung Tanjong Bunut, featured a blend of spiritual reflection and guidance.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Assistant Head of Media Division at the Islamic Da’wah Centre, who delivered the night’s Tazkirah titled “Kepimpinan Adil Bersumberkan Al-Qur’an,” effective leaders are those who administer justice and maintain trust by anchoring their governance in Quranic principles. The event also included recitations of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Awang Haji Saiful Nizam bin Haji Sulaiman, Acting Director of Administration at the State Mufti Department, Prime Minister’s Office.
Participants of the Munajat Night included officers and staff from the State Mufti Department, students and teachers from the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Qur’an Tahfiz Institute, members of the Ar-Rahman Mosque’s takmir committee, congregants from Kampung Tanjong Bunut, and attendees from various mosques, suraus, and religious halls across the nation.
