Munajat Night

Ramadhan should be glorified not only by performing fast and tadarus, but also by learning and appreciating the lessons from fasting so it can become a guide in daily life. Among the lesson from fasting are sincerity, piety, modesty, making use of time and helping each other. The reminder was made during a Tazkirah or talk on Ihya Ramadhan during the 79th Munajat Night organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

Among those joining the online event was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah and Sayyidul Istighfar was led by Dr. Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Ra'es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB. The online talk was delivered by Awang Haji Azmi bin Haji Akop, Religious Education Officer from Mushalla Al-Ameen, Islamic Da'wah Centre. Also participating in the virtual event were officers, lecturers and students of KUPU SB and Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute; Kampung Pengkalan Batu Mosque Takmir Committee and congregants from 101 mosques including suraus and religious halls nationwide as well as the staff and officers from Ministry of Religious Affairs.
