The latest COVID-19 situation in Brunei Darussalam and there is no new case of the infection in the country. Therefore, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Brunei Darussalam remains at 141. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health stated this during a Media Conference on the latest COVID-19 situation in Brunei Darussalam, yesterday afternoon.
According to Yang Berhormat, currently there are 409 individuals who are undergoing mandatory isolation at the monitoring centres provided by the government, who have just arrived in the country after traveling abroad. At present, 2,696 people have completed their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres. In the past 24 hours, 404 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus that brings the total number of lab tests conducted since January 2020 to 29,111. Following the announcement on the BruHealth App, 403,837 people have registered to the application. For companies and premises, 10,839 have registered for the BruHealth application. Meanwhile, regarding the PremiseScan application, 5,907 PremiseScan downloads have been made by 4,254 business premises.
