Bandar seri begawan: Makan Fest 1.0, a first-of-its-kind event in the country, is currently underway at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium area, featuring a blend of local and Malaysian food entrepreneurs. The event, aimed at introducing a variety of menus and supporting the growth of local entrepreneurs, is scheduled to conclude this Sunday, 25th January, with operating hours from 11 in the morning to 12 midnight.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the festival has attracted participation from over 130 entrepreneurs, offering a wide range of food options and unique experiences for visitors. The event has received an overwhelming response from attendees. The organiser highlighted that managing overseas vendors, particularly in terms of logistics, presented one of the biggest challenges in organising Makan Fest 1.0.
