The local fashion industry is slowly but steadily on the rise in the nation. With the ease of e-commerce platforms, many online businesses have proven to be a success � to the point of owning a physical store catering to the increasing number of consumers. Seni Moda is one of the recent examples where entrepreneurs work together to promote brand inclusivity and to give back to the community. Hjh Masmahirah Hj Mohd Tali has the report.

Seni Moda owned by Nabilah Jeffery is a fashion showroom recently opened early this month, it is located in Citi Square in Berakas and currently houses 7 local fashion brands. They offer a variety of stylish options ranging from hand-made jewelry, customizable fabrics and even clothes that have been upcycled to promote ecological awareness.

Another initiative by these young entrepreneurs include allocating a percentage of the sales to support an organization called which aims to empower local underprivileged families through skill training.

The other tenant also shared their opinions of what they hope to achieve by collaborating with Seni Moda.

With the existence of this local fashion showroom shows that our young entrepreneurs are capable to seize business and collaboration opportunities. This initiative is hoped to encourage local entrepreneurs to seek collaborations with other creative talents to contribute to the growth of Brunei Darussalam’s fashion industry.
