In conjunction with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2022, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through the Department of Community Development held the ” Seni untuk Semua” or Arts for All Exhibition. The exhibition acts a platform to showcase the creative arts of persons with disabilities, with the collaboration of the combined creative works from Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al- Hajjah Maryam, SMARTER Brunei and La Vida. The exhibition was launched yesterday morning at Gallery 4 of the Brunei Energy Hub Dermaga Diraja in the capital.
The exhibition was officiated by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The ceremony ran concurrently with the launching of the ‘Artisan Pusat Bahagia’ logo and souvenirs presentation.
Earlier, Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari, the Permanent Secretary for Community at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports in her welcoming remarks, shared that the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports through Pusat Bahagia and in cooperation with Dream Makers Enterprise has made history with the launch of the “Artisan Pusat Bahagia” logo. The Logo will be used on every product produced by Pusat Bahagia in all four districts and is hoped to upgrade the image of the quality of products by persons with disabilities
The exhibition is open to the public until the 31st of December, every Tuesday to Sunday from 9 in the morning until 8 in the evening. While on Friday it is open from 2 in the afternoon to 8 in the evening. The exhibition is closed every Monday.
