Launching of Chancellor’s Trophy

Several sports event will be held at the Chancellor’s Trophy 2022. Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB hosted the tournament’s launching, 1st September. The Chancellor’s Trophy is under the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD, UTB, Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA and the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB.

In attendance was Doctor Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. Also present, Datin Paduka Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice Chancellor of UTB ; Doctor Awang Hazri bin Haji Kiflie, Vice Chancellor of UBD; Doctor Awang Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA; and Doctor Awang Haji Adnan bin Haji Basar, Ra’es of KUPU SB. The tournament aims to motivate the sport’s development, competition and association between local Universities and Higher Education Institutions. The Chancellor’s Trophy is open to students and members of higher education institutions in the country.
