His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that Muslims should never distance themselves from Al-Quran, or stop reading it. Hence, His Majesty expresses the hope that Bruneians will make reading Al-Quran a lasting culture. The Monarch delivered the titah at the Finals of the National Musabaqah Al-Quran for Adults 1442 Hijrah/2021 that took place at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, 10th June night. In the titah, His Majesty outlines that as a result of using the integrated shield, which is obeying and following the guidance of Al-Quran and the normal S.O.P, Brunei Darussalam is safe from the assault of the pandemic.
