Bandar seri begawan: The blessed month of Ramadan is a month that is awaited by the entire Muslim community as within it, there is a night hidden that is incomparable in value, a night that is better than a thousand months, namely Lailatul Qadr. On that night, Allah SWT forgives the sins of His servants who repent with full faith and hope, simply because they hope for the blessings of Allah SWT. The matter was among those touched upon in the Friday Sermon titled Lailatul Qadr - A Night Better Than a Thousand Months. Among the wisdoms of Allah SWT in keeping the night of Lailatul Qadr secret is that we should not only choose a specific night to perform religious acts, but instead always be diligent and sincere in performing them throughout the nights of Ramadan by increasing the number of nights full of blessings.
According to Radio Television Brunei, in an effort to achieve Lailatul Qadr, there are several things that we are encouraged to do, including multiple reading of Al-Qur'an, understanding and acting on its contents, enlivening the night with religious acts, especially performing sunnah prayers, and supplicate to Allah SWT. Among the most important prayers said on Lailatul Qadr is what Rasulullah SAW taught Aisha Radiallahuan. From Aisha Radiallahuan she said: I once asked Rasulullah SAW: O Rasulullah, what if I knew that Lailatul Qadr was a night with determination, what doa should I recite? Considering how great the reward of Lailatul Qadr is, let's take the opportunity by increasing our acts of religious, especially in the last ten nights of this month of Ramadan. Use this opportunity to truly return to Allah SWT.
