The importance of consuming healthy food based on herbs was highlighted during the Knowledge-based development programme in conjunction with Teachers Day Celebration. 43 school counsellors including officers of the counselling and career unit, Schools Department, took part in the programme.

The programme also provided the opportunity for participants to exchange views and ideas apart from learning the types of herbs and its function that can be found at the Eco-Ponies Park located in Kampung Bang Nukat. The participants also took part in cooking competitions using the provided herbs. Such activities can enable the councillors to share their experiences for the students learning.
