Bandar Seri Begawan: The Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, under the Prime Minister's Office, conducted a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony on the afternoon of March 23rd. The event took place at the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof. He serves as the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, and is also the Chairman of the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Advisory Board. In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd. Amin Liew bin Abdullah, who is the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.
During the ceremony, two staff members of the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah received donations. The event was aligned with the mass Fardhu Maghrib Prayer and the Breaking of the Fast.
