Brunei Darussalam: Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore are exploring the potential to further strengthen ties, particularly in the economic sector and people-to-people relations. His Excellency Doctor Mohamad Maliki bin Osman, the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Education, and Second Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, highlighted this during an interview at the Junjung Ziarah ceremony held at Istana Nurul Iman.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Excellency emphasized that the specialty of the bilateral relationship is rooted in the sincerity shared by both nations. He pointed out the genuineness of the leaders’ commitment as a unique aspect of this relationship. The collaboration between the two countries is further exemplified by Singapore’s recent initiative to import products from Brunei, beginning with eggs and expanding to include beef.
