Kesyukuran Ceremony Marks Completion of Kampung Salambigar Mosque Expansion

Bandar seri begawan: The new building expansion project for the Kampung Salambigar Mosque marked an important achievement in improving the mosque’s infrastructure facilities, including accommodating approximately 700 congregants. As a sign of gratitude for the completion of the project, a Kesyukuran Ceremony and Doa Selamat was held on 14th October afternoon, organised by the Mosque Takmir Committee.

According to Radio Television Brunei, present at the ceremony was Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs, who also presented the certificates of appreciation. The ceremony was enlivened by the Dikir Marhaban. The new building expansion project cost approximately over $BND 9 million.
