JoyRide Receives Approval for One-Month Pilot Run in Ilocos Norte

ILOCOS NORTE: Motorcycle taxi and delivery service provider, JoyRide, has secured permission to conduct a month-long pilot run in Ilocos Norte.

According to a new release by the Philippines News Agency, who chairs the Committee on Transportation, the decision was confirmed during a media interview on Monday. Faylogna stated that the JoyRide mobile app was discussed in the Sangguniang Panlalawigan session on October 12. He added that before the pilot testing begins, all drivers must undergo training focused on ensuring public safety. The company has also partnered with Malayan Insurance Co. Inc. to provide insurance coverage for both riders and clients.
