RMB$12.3 billion) in 2014, up 4.8 per cent from previous year on the back of stable business growth. Aiming at providing stronger industry focuses in key business areas to achieve continuous and sustainable growth, Jebsen has reorganised and optimised its business structure effective January 2015. Under the unified master brand of Jebsen, now the Group has four strategic business units including Consumer, Beverage, Industrial and Motors, complemented by other specialised businesses including Logistics and Marine. With the completed Group reorganisation, each business unit is able to address the needs and requirements of customers and suppliers through its unique industry focus and ability.

Jebsen Consumer expanded its home enrichment business last year with a new collaboration with Mitsubishi Rayon Cleansui, a Japanese brand with a range of water purifiers in Hong Kong, and introducing the air purifier brand, AirFree to the mainland market – all complements the healthier lifestyle that Chinese consumers desire. In 2014, Jebsen Consumer has been recognised by its partner since 2008, Dyson, as the Consumer Distributor of the Year Award for China, and Marketing Impact Award for Hong Kong. Since 2012, Jebsen has expanded the sales network for Dyson products in more than 50 cities across Mainland China, gaining market share and outpacing the industry growth.

Jebsen Consumer has also turned over a new leaf with O2O (online-to-offline) operations,   connecting closer with customers through JSelect, the first Jebsen own-branded online retail store (http://www.jselect.hk/), a flagship store on Tmall in Mainland China (http://jebsen.tmall.com/) and a brand new physical retail store in Shatin, Hong Kong. These new developments aim at delivering a meaningfully differentiated experience valued by customers in the Greater China region.

As one of the longest-standing business unit of Jebsen, Jebsen Industrial underwent an organisational optimisation in 2014 and has put in place a new business structure comprising Automation & Services, Specialty Ingredients & Solutions, Cinematic & Broadcasting Solutions, Automotive Technik, as well as the integration of Jebsen Building Products in 2015. In 2014, Jebsen Automotive Technik (JAT) introduced its own brand BLAUMANN to provide premium products, parts and services to the automotive aftermarket in Greater China. Jebsen tedrive Steering Systems (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Jebsen’s fourth joint venture, was established to introduce advanced automotive steering systems to China. In 2015, Jebsen Industrial announced the first investment in a recycling joint venture with Clean Oil Investment Ltd., with a brand new plant to be built in Zhuhai to produce premium recycled base oil and lubricating oil products for industrial and automotive application, aligning with China’s efforts to reduce carbon emissions and pollution.

The year also saw the opening of the second Hong Kong Porsche Centre in Kowloon Bay, the upgrade and expansion of Porsche Centre Shanghai Puxi and the 10th anniversary of Porsche Centre Hangzhou Westlake.
