Tutong: The 18th Jalinan Kasih RTB Project continued with its annual Breaking of the Fast with Orphans, held at the Official Residence of the Tutong District Officer on 12th March. The event, which took place in the late afternoon, celebrated 31 orphans and included a donation presentation ceremony.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the donation presentation was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, a Member of the Legislative Council. Representatives of contributing companies, including Pek Kheng Guan, Project Manager of Syarikat Tanira Sendirian Berhad, Ming Ong, Operations Director of Soon Lee Heavy Machinery Sendirian Berhad, and Albert Shim from Build Mix Trading, also participated in the ceremony.
The project continued on the night of 12th March at McDonald's Seria, where 32 orphans were honored. Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer, presented donations during this event. The ceremony was further enriched with a talk titled 'Ramadhan hampir pergi,' delivered by Awang Haji Muskrisman Safari bin Haji Mustapha, a Religious Development Officer at the Islamic Da'wah Centre. The 'Jalinan Kasih RTB' project represents RTB's commitment to corporate social responsibility, aiming to support the community during the holy month of Ramadan.
