Involvement of Muslimah to Enliven Mosques

Two mosques in Temburong District were the focus of the Endowment Programme organised by the Muslimah Affairs Division in collaboration with the Temburong District Mosque Affairs Office and Muslimah Guidance Classes. This morning’s programme was to encourage the involvement of Muslimah in enlivening the mosques besides strengthening relationship and cooperation among the Muslimah.

 

Present at the Kampung Sibut Religious Hall was Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi, wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs. The programme focused on several categories, among others to help Muslimah such as single mothers, the underprivileged, as well as the poor and destitute.

 

Meanwhile at the Kampung Selangan Mosque, the function was attended by Datin Hajah Norazimah binti Haji Ramlee, wife of the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The endowment is for the benefit of the mosque’s congregants, either in the form of infrastructure equipment in the mosque or for the construction of the mosque. Tree planting was also held at the mosque and religious hall surrounding area.
