Kampung sungai hanching: Furniture and handicraft products made by inmates under the rehabilitation programme are being highlighted at the INSAF Product Exhibition and Sales Expo. Organized by the Prisons Department, the event is set to run until the 6th of July at One City Shopping Centre, having been inaugurated on the morning of July 3rd.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch of the expo was officiated by Awang Salminan bin Haji Burut, Permanent Secretary for Security and Welfare at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The exhibition is held in conjunction with the Prisons Department’s 71st anniversary and aims to foster community support for the success of the department’s rehabilitation programmes.
