27 members of the Belait Senior Citizens Activity Centre taking part in the Informed Society Programme, visited several locations in the Brunei Muara District. The programme is organised by the Information Department, 6th September.
The delegation was led by K. Salim bin Abdul Karim, the Centre's Chairman. During the visit at the Information Department, Prime Minister's Office in Berakas, the delegation was briefed on role and responsibility of the citizens and residents as well as had the opportunity to view the Information Department's Galeri Lantera Makmur.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited K.N Nursery Brunei Sendirian Berhad in Tungku Gadong and took a closer look at the high technology greenhouses operated by the company. Also visited was Rimba Garden Central.
