Infak Ramadhan Programme Supports Families in Need
Temburong: The Islamic Studies Department, Ministry of Religious Affairs, in collaboration with Abdul Razak Holdings Group of Hotels and the Brunei Darussalam Four Wheel Drive Association, organized the Infak Ramadhan Programme to assist six families of religious school pupils in need. The donation presentation took place on the afternoon of March 24th, with distributions at five residences in Temburong District and one in Kampung Perpindahan Lambak Kanan.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the donations in Temburong District were presented by Dayang Hajah Mariana binti Haji Jamil, Acting Director of Islamic Studies; Awang Haji Suhaimei bin Haji Awang Besar, Director of Abdul Razak Holdings; and Awang Mazlani bin Mahadi, Deputy President of the Brunei Darussalam Four Wheel Drive Association. This initiative is part of a larger effort to continue the Ramadhan Iftar Programme, which is jointly organized by the Islamic Studies Department and Abdul Razak Holdings, to celebrate Ramadhan with acts of charity.
