Borneo Pulau Bersejarah Project Celebrates Regional Heritage in Brunei

Anggerek Desa – The ‘Borneo Pulau Bersejarah’ Project, a two-day event held at the Borneo Study Centre, penBORNEO, featured a series of competitions including Traditional Dress, Coffee Brewing, and Borneo Cuisine. The project, organized by the Brunei History Centre through penBORNEO, aims to promote the center as a hub for the history of the Brunei Sultanate and to foster relations among Brunei Darussalam, Sabah and Sarawak in Malaysia, and Kalimantan in Indonesia.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was designed to enhance friendship and mutual respect between the participating countries through cultural exchange and shared historical appreciation.
