Iban Woman Embraces Islam in Brunei Darussalam

Bandar Seri Begawan: From January to March 2025, 68 people have embraced Islam in Brunei Darussalam, with 35 of them residing in the Brunei Muara District. On the afternoon of March 23rd, an Iban woman has chosen Islam as her life belief, marking a significant personal transformation.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Dayang Jessica anak Japri, the woman in question, has adopted the name Nur Fateen Afiqah binti Abdullah Japri following her conversion. The ceremony was conducted at Skim Tanah Kurnia Rakyat Jati Kampung Tanah Jambu, highlighting the ongoing trend of religious conversions in the region.
