HPA Futsal Championship 2025 Quarter-Finalists Announced
Bandar seri begawan: The Futsal Championship, held in conjunction with Civil Service Day 2025, witnessed an exciting night on 14th October as teams vied for a spot in the quarter-finals. Advancing from Group ‘A’ in the veteran category were the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Prime Minister’s Office, the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the opening match saw the Ministry of Home Affairs secure a 1-nil victory over the Prime Minister’s Office. In a closely contested game, the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications narrowly lost 1-nil to the Ministry of Finance and Economy. The Ministry of Home Affairs continued its strong performance, defeating the Ministry of Religious Affairs with another 1-nil win.
The Prime Minister’s Office rebounded with a 1-nil victory against the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications in their second match. The Ministry of Religious Affairs recorded its first win by overcoming the Mini
stry of Finance and Economy, 1-nil. The Ministry of Home Affairs maintained its winning streak with a 2-nil triumph over the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.
The Prime Minister’s Office achieved its second victory by defeating the Ministry of Finance and Economy with a decisive 4-nil scoreline. The Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications notched its first win by overcoming the Ministry of Religious Affairs, 3-1. The Ministry of Home Affairs continued its impressive performance by defeating the Ministry of Finance and Economy, 1-nil.
In the final match of the night, the Prime Minister’s Office secured a 1-nil win against the Ministry of Religious Affairs. All the matches were held at the Multipurpose Hall of Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex in Berakas.
