Holiday Factory Selects Philippines as First Southeast Asian Hub for Budget Tours
PASIG CITY — Holiday Factory, a prominent tour operator based in the United Arab Emirates, announced the launch of its budget-friendly tour packages in the Philippines, marking the country as its first hub in Southeast Asia for such offerings.
According to Philippines News Agency, the business development director for international markets at Holiday Factory, during the launch event in Pasig City on Monday, the Philippines was chosen due to its rapidly growing middle-income demographic with a keen interest in travel. The company, which has previously established operations in Dubai and Georgia, sees significant potential in the Filipino market for affordable travel options. Bakar noted that a substantial portion of the population is already engaging in booking budget travel packages.
Holiday Factory’s foray into the Philippine market began with the opening of a customer care center in Cebu back in 2018, initially serving UAE-based clients. Now, with travel demand rebounding, the company offers comprehensive travel packages which include return flights, hotel accommodations with breakfast, airport to hotel transfers, a tour guide, and travel insurance.
The packages cover top local destinations like Boracay, Puerto Princesa, and Siargao, with prices starting as low as PHP3,499 for Boracay and PHP5,499 for Siargao. The operator also provides packages to popular international destinations such as Bangkok, Hong Kong, the Maldives, and Dubai, with starting prices ranging from PHP11,899 to PHP32,999. Departures are available from major airports in Manila, Clark, and Cebu.
Bakar revealed that Holiday Factory is looking to expand its destination offerings further, with plans to include El Nido, Coron, and Bohol in the near future, enhancing its portfolio and catering to the diverse preferences of Filipino travelers.
