His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri safely arrived in Kuala Lumpur yesterday afternoon. Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty the Duli Raja Isteri were His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Wakeel; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador-at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade as well as members of the Royal Family.

Present at the Subang Air Base to greet His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty the Duli Raja Isteri and the Royal Family were Yang Berhormat Dato’ Sri Haji Anifah bin Haji Aman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia and wife; Yang Berhormat Tan Sri Noh bin Omar, Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government as the Minister-in-Attendance and wife; His Excellency Datuk Ghulam Jelani bin Khanizaman, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam; as well as senior officers from the Government of Malaysia.

Also present were Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Indera Pahlawan Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Suyoi bin Haji Osman, Minister of Education; Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade and wife; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Colonel Retired Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin Bin Haji Umar, Minister of Energy and Industry at the Prime Minister’s Office and wife; and His Excellency Dato Paduka Haji Awang Alaihuddin bin Pehin Orang Kaya Digadong Seri Lela Dato Seri Utama Haji Awang Mohd Taha, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia and wife. The Annual Leaders’ Consultation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia has been conducted since 1997. Last year it was held in Brunei Darussalam.
