Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam honored the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration with their presence. The ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman, where His Majesty presented sacrificial meats to designated recipients.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the royal couple was warmly welcomed by the Co-Advisors and Co-Chairmen, along with members of the ceremony's Executive Committee, upon their arrival. The event was graced by the presence of His Majesty's family, including sons, daughters, a brother, and sisters. Among the attendees were His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah, along with other esteemed members of the royal family.
The ceremony featured the recitation of holy Al-Quran verses by Awangku Adi Nazri bin Pengiran Haji Jofri and a Taddabur Al-Quran delivered by Awang Muhammad Yussof bin Haji Abdul Majid. His Majesty distributed sacrificial meat to 50 special recipients, comprising an equal number of male and female beneficiaries.
The event concluded with a Doa Selamat read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.
