With the re-opening of schools in the country, parents and guardians wish to ensure their children’s safety is assured. This desire is further assured with the presentation of face masks to students. Peradian Brunei in collaboration with the Youth Development Centre yesterday handed over some 4,000 fabric face masks. The contribution was received by Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The presentation which took place at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports is a collaboration project by Peradian Brunei and the Youth Development Centre, aimed at introducing reusable fabric face masks in support of the Ministry of Health’s efforts in containing the spread of COVID-19 in the country. The presentation was made by Dayang Lailatul Zubaidah binti Hj Mohd Hussain and Muhammad Rasimoon bin Haji Adinin to the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports which was then handed over to five non-government bodies in the country. The initiative was supported by sponsorships from YMRM Enterprise & Galleria as well as De Euro Fabrics Brunei.
