Since it was raised on the 1st of July 2021, the Giant-sized National Flag at the Open Area of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex was lowered yesterday. The flag lowering ceremony took place yesterday afternoon.
Present was Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by the Brunei Darussalam national anthem.
The Giant-sized national flag was lowered by personnel of the Royal Brunei Navy which was then handed over to the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The flag lowering ceremony marks the end of the flag hoisting at government and private premises as well as houses in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 75th birthday celebration.
