YAYASAN SULTAN HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH COMPLEX – A Food Street event was launched by Wadah Amal Sendirian Berhad on the evening of July 20th to bolster Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital. The event was inaugurated by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister for Security and Law at the Prime Minister's Office.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Food Street aims to recreate the vibrant atmosphere of trendy outdoor dining experiences. Initiated in 2021, the project features pop-up kiosks run by several SMEs, especially during the festive seasons. Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Fiscal, was also present at the event, underlining the government's commitment to supporting local businesses through innovative platforms.
