Over 5 thousand individuals comprising citizens and residents of the country are undergoing quarantine and self-isolation orders in their respective homes following the current outbreak of COVID-19. To ensure their well-being, the government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has sent basic food and food packs to the homes of the individuals involved. Delivery was carried out by ‘Royal Brunei Culinary’, RBC and assigned volunteers.
Delivery of food packs is made 3 times daily, namely breakfast, lunch and dinner. For basic foods such as rice, eggs and canned food, they are only sent once for the 2 weeks of the quarantine and isolation order period. The food aid eases the burden of those who are not allowed to leave their homes.
