Floods also began to recede in some low-risk flood and rural areas in the Tutong District.
The flood situation began to recede in Kampung Rambai; Kampung Kuala Ungar; and Bangkuru as well as some roads can now be passed by vehicles. However, Jalan Kecil Kampung Layong is still experiencing floods and the water level rises due to the descent of the river water which caused some houses flooded and the road is impassable by vehicles.
Currently, the flood water level is under control and the Tutong District Office together with the relevant parties will continue to monitor from time to time. Villagers and the public are advised to be vigilant and take safety measures during floods.
