Post: “Fill Safe, Feel Safe” Campaign Targets Zero Safety Incidents at Fuel Stations

CITY — A reduction in safety incidents at filling stations this year marks the backdrop for the launch of the "Fill Safe, Feel Safe" campaign. The initiative aims to further diminish the occurrences of safety issues, including attacks on workers and fueling non-compliances.

According to a new release by the Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications, emphasized the need for cooperation among all stakeholders to achieve the campaign's ultimate goal of zero incidents at fuel stations. This aim aligns with the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications Strategic Plan, which places an emphasis on the safety of the public and the provision of efficient, clean services.

Organized by Brunei Shell Marketing (BSM), the "Fill Safe, Feel Safe" campaign received international accolades when it won the Best HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) Initiative Award at the Shell License Summit in Bologna, Italy, last May. The launch event also included the presentation of Long Service Awards to Service Champions with employment tenures ranging from 20 to 35 years. In addition, those who had been proactive in maintaining safety levels at filling stations were recognized with the Best Retail Staff Intervention award.
