Post: Filipino Woman Embraces Islam at Conversion Ceremony

Bandar seri begawan: Over one hundred people have embraced Islam from January to May 4th this year. On the afternoon of May 11th, the figure increased as a Filipino woman recited the Islamic Oath at a conversion ceremony held at the Islamic Da'wah Centre.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony began with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah. This was followed by the Islamic Oath recited by 31-year-old Dayang Lodee Vina Sucgang Erni, who is now known as Nur Alisha Nuha Safiyya binti Abdullah.
