Festive Stage Performances Celebrate His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Across Four Districts

Bandar seri begawan: Starting on the night of 15th July, the Festive Stages in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration took place in all four districts to further enliven the celebration.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the festive stage at the Parking Area opposite the Royal Regalia Museum featured an Empowering Sign Language performance. This event was part of the broader effort to commemorate the special occasion across various locations.

In addition to the sign language performance, a historical theatre performance of Nakhoda Manis by Lakap Lagor Entertainment was held at the Tamu Tudong Saji Kuala Belait. The event was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohd Salleh bin Haji Othman, a Member of the Legislative Council, highlighting the significance of the celebration.

A performance of 60s songs was organised by the Lavender Band at the Open Space opposite Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Hospital in Tutong District. Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, a Member of the Legislative Council, was present, adding to the event’s importance.

Meanwhile, a Malay Traditional Arts and Culture Night performance organised by Irama Bahtera Entertainment was held at the Bangar Town Wharf Area in Temburong District. The event was graced by the presence of Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council, further emphasizing the cultural richness of the celebration.
