The Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy also informed, that essential outbound travel is allowed for citizens and permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam who have received 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccination within 14 days to 3 months and no longer 6 months, prior to departure or for those who have received a booster dose.
Foreigners who wish to enter Brunei Darussalam for essential purposes are still required to obtain the Entry Travel Pass approval. Meanwhile, for citizens and residents of Brunei Darussalam who wish to exit the country for essential matters are required to obtain exit-travel approval. Guidelines and online application forms can be found on the Prime Minister’s Office website. The conditions for the consideration of entry and exit travel mentioned are subject to review by the Steering Committee for COVID-19 from time to time.
