Equipment Handover for Cafe SMARTER

Autistic individuals continue to receive support, attention and assistance from various agencies and groups. Yesterday afternoon, an Equipment Handover Ceremony was held for the BJAK Cafe SMARTER Brunei through the Community Outreach Programme of Kumpulan Synergy for the 29th Executive Development Programme for Senior Government Officers. The project focus on providing assistance to adult individuals with autism by improving their standard of living and living independently.

The equipment was received by Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang, President of SMARTER Brunei. BJAK Cafe is one of the social entrepreneurship project aimed to provide job opportunities to adults with autism. This is inline with SMARTER Brunei’s mission to open more micro, small and medium enterprises that are related to their vocational courses.
