The courtesy visit to the houses of the poor and destitute as well as new converts also aimed to show care and concern and monitor the group’s development in terms of their children’ schooling needs and their involvement in guidance and assimilation of Islam for new converts in the country.

In the Tutong District, four families received visits from a delegation led by Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Aziz bin Orang Kaya Maharaja Lela Haji Yussof, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The delegation first visited the house of Siti Huzaimah binti Sani, a poor and destitute recipient in Kampung Kiudang, Tutong. Siti Huzaimah lives with her husband and 8 children, three of whom are receiving assistance for schooling essentials and basic necessities. The delegation then visited the house of another poor and destitute recipient, Hajah Munah binti Haji Momin in Kampung Luagan Timbaran, Jalan Lamunin. During the visit, Hajah Munah received donations in the form of basic daily necessities.

The delegation also visited the house of Hajah Salwana binti Abdullah in Kampung Petani Tutong and the house of a new convert, Nur Ameerah Razikin binti Abdullah @ Yong Sew Mee in Kampong Keriam, Tutong. The recipients meanwhile, expressed their gratitude for the donations which will undoubtedly help to alleviate their burden.
