Although Dikir ceremonies to commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam could not be held a masse due to COVID-19, such ceremonies are still held in a different way. It is a manifestation of love for Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.
Unlike the previous years, this year’s Dikir ceremonies are held in a new normal via online. Dikir and Selawat resounded at all mosques, suraus and religious halls throughout the country, carried out by mosque officials only. However, several mosques, suraus and religious halls as well as the public took the initiative to continue the Dikir online.
Although Dikirs are held in new normal, it does not hinder the Muslim ummah from reciting dikir and salawat to Prophet Muhammad Sallallaahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam.
