The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted issues and challenges on the future of employment. It also changed the way people work due to the digital transformation and innovation changes which have impacted on the lifestyle and job security if it does not go in accordance with the changing digital landscape.

 

The matter was shared by Dayang Haslina binti Taib, Chairman of the ASEAN Round Table, Skills for the digital age and Dayang Hajah Farida binti Dato Seri Paduka Haji Taib, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Brunei LNG during an interview held virtually yesterday morning. The ASEAN Round Table, Skills for the digital age which will be held virtually this Wednesday aims to understand the skills needed to go through the digital age.

 

Dayang Haslina added that the first session discusses the future of workers as well as jobs in view on how the business and employment industries changes due to the digital transformation and elevation. The second session discusses digital skills in identifying the skills needed and how it could flourished.
