DAR-13 Exceeds Targets in E-Title Registration for 2023


BUTUAN: The Department of Agrarian Reform in the Caraga Region (DAR-13) has reported a notable achievement of 102 percent in Project SPLIT (Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling) for the year 2023. According to regional director Merlita Capinpuyan, DAR-13 successfully registered 6,757 electronic titles (e-titles) covering approximately 9,639 hectares throughout the region last year. This accomplishment positions DAR-13 as the third highest in the nation for e-titles registered and second for titles distributed.



According to Philippines News Agency, Capinpuyan’s report highlighted the impact of this achievement on 6,758 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in the region. She emphasized the importance of the dedicated efforts of DAR-13 personnel in supporting ARBs, particularly those holding collective titles. Funded by the World Bank, Project SPLIT is a key program of DAR, focusing on enhancing land ownership and agricultural productivity.
