Apart from Al-Quran Teaching courses, several other courses need to be given attention too such as the Fardhu 'Ain or Individual Obligation and Fardhu Kifayah or Collective Obligation courses. These need to be studied, taught, and refined. The students' knowledge on them should also be strengthened. The matter was stressed by Doctor Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Ra'es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers' University College, KUPU SB during the closing ceremony of the Training of Trainer - T.o.T - Training Skills Course for Quran Teachers at government and private secondary schools and colleges the country. The course was organised by Seri Begawan Religious Teachers' University College in collaboration with the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education and the Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs since 21st October, 2020. The closing ceremony took place yesterday afternoonat Dewan Tarbiyyah, KUPU SB.

72 teachers of Al-Quran and Islamic Religious Knowledge subjects from the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education and the Department of Islamic Studies, Ministry of Religious Affairs were selected to attend the TOT course of Al-Qur'an Learning Programme. They have completed the modules that totalled 23 hours. Among the modules presented in the course include introduction to the knowledge of Al-Qur'an, method of tilawah Al-Qur'an, Tajweed Al-Qur'an, method of murattal Al-Qur'an, method of Rasm Uthmani, alternative methods of teaching Al-Qur'an, method of memorising Al-Qur'an teaching, multimedia Al-Qur'an teaching method and practical alternative methods of teaching Al-Qur'an presented by the lecturers of KUPU SB.
